Chase scene project

To prepare for filming, we had to work a little bit individually. We each had to come up with three possible chase scene possibilities for us to execute. A lot of people were doing something along the lines of stolen lunch money. I really wanted to do something different, so I think because of this ambition a lot of my ideas were unachievable. Our group ended up using a stocker based concept, which was one of my group member's ideas. Because of our specific video idea, we had a lot of setting options. We ended up using almost the entire school as our set, running everywhere. My teacher assigned our groups, distributing strengths throughout my classmates. Using this strategy, each of us in my group had an idea of what role they would work best for. This way, there were few arguments between us about jobs. I was director in my group. We also had an extra person-most groups having four, us having five-so we had two directors. I thought this would be frustrating, but I think if was really helpful. Sometime group member got off-track and we had to re-focus, but it went smoothly overall.
In Adobe Premier, I feel like I have improved a lot since day one, and even since last week. I still definitely need to work on memorizing all the short-cut keys to make the editing process faster. I feel like we worked well together, getting the filming done on-time, with good time management. One thing I think our group would need to improve would be focusing on the task at hand. I will try to be more proactive in my next group project similar to this.
